Mackerel. Shoals of mackerel have arrived early in the bay this year and are being caught from the harbour wall. Great for the cottage barbecues as well as the sign of good summer weather. New Quay's dolphins are enjoying a feast too.

30th June 2008 Mrs Camilla Parker Bowles made a private visit to Llangrannog today to the surprise of visitors and locals. She spent some time on the beach and went for a swim.

24th August 2008 once again the dolphins didn't disappoint and put on a show on bank holiday afternoon. 2008 has been good for sightings particularly mornings and late afternoons
