The Captain's Cabin is a selfcontained first floor loft conversion in one of the oldest cottages in Newquay dating back to 1640. Antique fixtures and fittings from salvaged ships have been used throughout to make a unique, quirky holiday home carrying out New Quay's historic ship building tradition. it's location is 75 yards from Dolau beach and a couple of minutes walk from the harbour.

The accommodation comprises:-

Galley Kitchen with dual fuel cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, ceramic sink plus a full range of crockery and cutlery from sundae glasses to food blender. In the kitchen area is a dining area for two made from a ship's grating. Also lots of working portholes.

Lounge with digital tv with dvd player, cd player, comfy sofa and armchair, a well stocked cupboard with traditional games. Sea views and door leading to

Bathroom with freestanding bath with deluge shower over, wc and wash hand basin,

The Captain's Cabin:- A double cabin bedroom based on a 19th century Nantucket whaling ship. A king size double bed with pocket sprung mattress, chest of drawers, a built in wardrobe and bedside lockers make this room an ideal romantic retreat. Sea view.

The Captain's Cabin has central heating throughout, free wi-fi access and a washing machine. All gas and electricity charges are included in the hire fee. In addition the charge includes a weekly car parking ticket to the Paragon Car Park, about 100 yards, all bed linen, tea towels, hand towels and bath towels ( not beach towels). There are no hidden extras so you can get on with enjoying your holiday.

The Captain's Cabin only sleeps two persons and is unsuitable for babies, children or pets
